Senior Vice President Business Risk & Controls - C14 - Mumbai

As a part of the Client organization's Control Testing Team at Citi, you will play a crucial role in testing controls designed and executed by the Client org. Segment business teams. This strategic and execution-oriented position reports to the Client Org. Segment Control Testing Head and involves end-to-end controls testing including design, execution, results reporting, and insight sharing related to operational controls performance assurance/testing. Your responsibilities will include: - Assessing control design, designing control testing tools, and developing control testing procedures - Making decisions on control testing activity, including approvals, escalations, and ownership of Internal Audit and issue management actions - Forecasting resources for the team and coordinating control testing coverage to ensure sufficient execution - Handling control testing outlier escalations and interactions with senior managers - Representing control testing in Operational Risk Forums and senior meetings as needed - Driving continuous improvements in accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and quality of control design assessment and testing - Maintaining relationships with partners and stakeholders to drive control testing success Your qualifications ideally include: - Strong background in financial services Risk & Control roles - Direct management experience preferred - Good understanding of institutional credit management processes and risks - Expertise in controls design, execution, and/or control testing - Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint - Excellent communication, presentation, people, and relationship management skills - Ability to work effectively in virtual teams across different geographies and time zones Education: - University degree, Masters preferred This job description offers a glimpse into the impactful work you will be involved in as part of the Client organization's Control Testing Team at Citi.
