VFX Faculty – Job Description

Position: VFX Faculty / Trainer
Department: Academics / Training
Location: (Ludhiana Mall road)

Role Overview:

The VFX Faculty is responsible for delivering high-quality training in visual effects, ensuring students gain strong technical skills and creative understanding required for the VFX industry. The role includes teaching, mentoring, project supervision, and maintaining academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct classroom and lab sessions for VFX modules such as Compositing, Motion Graphics, Tracking, Roto, Matchmoving, and VFX Simulation.
• Teach software like After Effects, Nuke, Mocha, Silhouette, PFTrack, 3ds Max/Maya (as per course structure).
• Prepare lesson plans, training materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Guide students in project development, showreel creation, and industry-standard workflows.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure timely completion of syllabus as per academic guidelines.
• Maintain discipline, quality standards, and learning environment in the classroom.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the VFX industry.
• Coordinate with academic heads and support center activities, workshops, and events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of VFX fundamentals and production pipelines.
• Proficiency in major VFX tools (Nuke, After Effects, Mocha, Silhouette, etc.).
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle diverse batches and guide students effectively.
• Minimum 1–3 years of industry or teaching experience (may vary per center).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in VFX production (Roto, Compositing, Tracking, Paint, Motion Graphics).
• Knowledge of 3D software is an added advantage.
• Ability to mentor students for competitions and demo reel preparation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
