Senior Veterinary

As a Senior Veterinary Surgeon at YODA (Youth Organization in Defence of Animals), you will play a crucial role in providing medical care and surgical interventions to a variety of animals in need. Founded in 2010 in Mumbai by passionate animal lovers, YODA is dedicated to improving the co-existence between humans and animals through various services such as prompt medical assistance for abandoned or injured animals, behavioral rehabilitation, sheltering and rehabilitating homeless animals, vaccination and sterilization programs, as well as education and awareness initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Perform veterinary surgeries on small and large animals - Administer medical treatments to animals in need - Conduct laboratory tests to diagnose and monitor animal health - Oversee pet care and rehabilitation processes - Provide veterinary medicine and post-operative care - Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure the well-being and recovery of rescued animals Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Veterinary Surgery and Veterinary Medicine - Experience in Pet Care and administering medications - Strong laboratory skills relevant to veterinary practice - Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities - Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree - Experience in animal welfare or related field is a plus In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of animals in need while contributing to YODA's mission of promoting human-animal co-existence and welfare.,
