Senior UX Designer

As a Senior UX Designer at Nasuni Portal, you will join our India Innovation Center in Hyderabad to contribute to delivering an exceptional user experience for Nasuni Portal. This innovative system consolidates the UIs of multiple enterprise storage products into a single pane of glass management system. Collaborating closely with front-end engineers in Hyderabad, you will work alongside the Boston-based Senior UX Designer and Product Management team to extend and apply a unified design system. Your role will involve working with a local Product Manager in Hyderabad to ensure alignment between product requirements and user experience goals throughout the ideation and implementation stages. Using tools like Figma, you will create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and production-ready designs that adhere to our evolving standards. Your responsibilities will include translating product requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs using Figma. You will adapt and apply an existing design system and visual style guide across multiple projects while collaborating closely with front-end engineers to ensure correct and efficient implementation. Additionally, you will work with the Senior UX Designer and Product team to align on user experience goals, participate in design critiques, usability reviews, and iterative feedback cycles. You will model user flows, create interactive prototypes, and document design intent to align cross-functional stakeholders on solving user needs. Advocating for design consistency and accessibility, you will contribute to our shared design system and ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and aligned with WCAG guidelines. Furthermore, you will work with React and Tailwind CSS-based front-end applications and support agile development processes through collaboration on sprint planning and reviews. To be successful in this role, you should have 4 to 7 years of experience as a UX Designer, preferably in enterprise software environments. A strong portfolio demonstrating an understanding of user needs and business goals, collaboration with team members, and creativity within technical constraints is required. Proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping, as well as a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, UX research methods, and agile development environments, are essential. Strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate across time zones, familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG, and experience with front-end technologies like React and Tailwind CSS are also necessary. A Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Exposure to AI-driven UX, design thinking principles, design systems, and component libraries is a plus.
