Senior UW Governance Manager

Role Overview: Join the Corporate Solutions (CorSo) Underwriting Governance Team and play a key role in safeguarding and strengthening global Underwriting activities. You will contribute to high-impact initiatives at the heart of CorSo's Underwriting Excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and enhance CorSo-wide Underwriting Standards in partnership with representatives from relevant Lines of Business (LoBs) - Design, implement, and evolve robust UW Governance Frameworks to ensure alignment and consistency across CorSo - Establish and refine monitoring frameworks and conduct Underwriting governance reviews - Deliver training sessions on UW Standards, Governance Frameworks, and associated tools and databases - Act as a subject matter expert for specific UW Governance topics across all LoBs - Contribute to improving UW processes for efficiency, compliance, and business alignment - Represent CorSo Underwriting in cross-functional initiatives and projects - Define and implement enhancements to UW Governance tools and databases - Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, Operations, and other teams to share insights and align on governance practices Qualifications Required: - At least 8 years of experience as a Non-Life (Re)Insurance Underwriter for large international corporate clients OR - At least 3 years of experience as a Non-Life (Re)Insurance Underwriter for large international corporate clients, plus 5 years in other relevant functions (e.g., Risk Management, Compliance, or Legal) Additional Details of the Company: Swiss Re is a leading provider of reinsurance, insurance, and insurance-based risk transfer.
