As a User Experience (UX) Designer at Gallagher, you will play a crucial role in leading the end-to-end user experience design process. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the entire user experience design process, starting from user research and concept development to prototyping and final delivery. - Collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define project goals and user requirements. - Conducting user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to gain insights into user behavior. - Creating wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to visually represent design ideas. - Ensuring design consistency and quality across the product by maintaining design systems and guidelines. - Mentoring junior UX designers, providing feedback and guidance to enhance their skills and performance. - Advocating for user-centric design practices throughout the product development lifecycle. - Staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovative design solutions. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of experience in user experience design, along with recommended qualifications like Bachelors in Engineering, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Computer Science, BCA, BSC, or related certifications. - Expertise in user experience design principles, interaction design, and user research methodologies. - Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent. - Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to effectively collaborate with developers. - Ability to lead and mentor junior designers. - Strong aptitude in critical thinking, problem-solving, and design strategy. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and articulate design decisions to stakeholders. - Experience working in agile teams and cross-functional environments. - Strong listening and collaboration skills to work seamlessly in teams. - Deep understanding of current design trends and emerging technologies.
