Job Description

US NFP/EBP Audit Associate

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits of grant expenditures for compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Review financial statements and reporting practices of nonprofit organizations
  • Test internal controls related to grant management and reporting
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with nonprofit organizations to address financial deficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Stay updated on current regulations, best practices, and trends in nonprofit auditing
  • Support training and development efforts related to grant compliance for nonprofit staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum

    3 years of auditing experience

    , preferably in the nonprofit sector
  • Strong understanding of grant management regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
