Senior UI UX Designer

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Senior UI/UX Designer to craft exceptional user experiences for our travel and tourism web and mobile applications. Front-end development knowledge, particularly in React, will be a huge plus, as it allows seamless collaboration with developers to translate your designs into reality. Experience with travel and tourism applications would be an advantage, as it provides a head start in understanding the unique challenges of the domain.

Key Responsibilities

• UI/UX Design:

• Develop intuitive, user-friendly designs for both web and mobile applications.

 o Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and final high-fidelity designs.

• Research and Testing:

• Conduct user research and usability testing to refine designs.

 o Analyze and integrate feedback to improve the product continuously. 

• Collaboration and Front-end Insight:

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.

 o Work effectively with a tech stack including React and Redux Toolkit. 

• Design Systems and Consistency

 o Build and maintain a cohesive design system for a scalable and consistent experience.

Innovation and Accessibility

• Stay updated on design trends and implement creative ideas tailored to our domain.

 o Ensure designs meet WCAG accessibility standards and are responsive across devices.

Qualifications

• Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on digital products. 
• Expertise in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent. 
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles. 
• Proficiency in responsive and mobile-first design approaches. 
• Experience working with design systems and component libraries. 

• Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. 
• Knowledge of travel and tourism application design challenges. 
• Experience in tools like Hotjar, Google Analytics, or equivalent for behavioral analysis. 
• Exposure to motion design or micro-interactions using tools like After Effects.
