Senior UI Engineer, AVP

Role Overview: You will be a Senior UI Engineer, AVP at a company in Pune, India. Your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using React and modern frameworks. You will work closely with local business stakeholders to deliver customized solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop scalable UI applications using React and modern frameworks. - Drive UI strategy, component architecture, performance optimizations, and best practices. - Collaborate with backend teams to integrate microservice-based architectures in GCP with secure communication. - Provide technical leadership in frontend engineering, coding standards, and design patterns. - Translate complex requirements into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. - Mentor junior engineers via code reviews and technical guidance. - Lead Agile processes, including sprint planning and architecture discussions. - Drive CI/CD pipelines for UI apps on cloud-native platforms. - Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications. - Stay current with frontend, cloud-native, and DevOps technologies. - Design scalable, performant solutions for user stories. - Write unit/integration tests using TDD/BDD. - Ensure observability with logging, metrics, and monitoring. - Follow SOLID principles and clean code practices. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders and teams. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or related field. - 8+ years in developing enterprise-scale React apps. - Strong in React (hooks, Redux/Context), REST API consumption, and async data handling. - Proven experience leading frontend architecture with microservice backends. - Expertise in performance optimization, responsive UI, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. - Solid understanding of microservices and containerized backends. - Hands-on with GCP: Pub/Sub, storage, networking, security, and CI/CD for UI. - Proficient in RESTful API integration, OAuth2, JWT, and SSO. - Familiar with IaC tools like Terraform/Ansible. - Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and scalable UI design patterns. - Experienced in TDD/BDD and CI/CD pipelines. - Skilled with SDLC tools: Git, JIRA, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc. - Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot for backend collaboration. - Strong communication and leadership skills. - Working knowledge of SQL and database modeling. - Excellent debugging and problem-solving in distributed systems. - Promotes engineering best practices and continuous learning.,
