Job Purpose
Develop, organise and execute sales plans of Primary Metal Products Business for the Western Region to ensure maximum realisation and achievement of Profit & sales targets and to drive market demand in the transport and electrical segment.
Job Context
Job Context: Hindalco is the leading player in the Aluminium business in India with 1.3 Mn ton annual capacity of Metal. Hindalco's strategy is to have balance portfolio of both up- stream (Metal) and down-stream (value added products). In last 5 years, with commissioning of its green filed projects, Hindalco's up-stream capacity has grown to 3 times.In Primary aluminium, Hindalco is currently at No 2 with 28% market share. As a strategy Hindalco has decided to make investments in increasing their value-added products in Primary. This will help to meet to meet growth in demand for Electricals and Transport segment. Hindalco has a strategy is to expand its presence in B2B with OEM & retail across India.

Supporting Actions
Develop, execute sales plans in the territory in order to ensure achievement of sales targets and realization as per the plan.
- Interact with direct customers
- Enquiry Handling & Submit quotation
- Negotiate and finalize the deal in consultation with Regional Manager.
- Order management by close coordination with all stake holder in plant
- Recommend and seek approval from competent authority wherever required
- Increase of share of wallet (SOW) from existing customers & adding more new customers
- Provide feedback to Regional Manger & Business
- Achieving targeted CP.
Establish effective customer relationship with a view to provide maximum customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain good relationship with customers
- Attend pre and post sales customer complaints
- Provide/arrange technical help and support to the customers
- Regular visit to customer place (factory & head office)
Execute plan for improving market share and growing market
- Collect information about market and competitor's movement
- Effective Market Mapping.
- Assess market potential
- Prospect and develop new customers
- Prospecting & Market survey for HIL Products.
- Provide feedback to the Regional Manager
- Cultivating & Maintaining Relationship with Industry partners.
- Increase sales of higher purity of ingots and PFA to wheel manufacturers.
Monitor and execute guidelines on the receivables for collection of money from the customer in time.
- Co-ordinate with Sales Accounts for periodic information & Reconciliation
- Follow up with the customer in order to ensure timely collection of money
- Provide feedback to the Stream Lead.
- Obtain Balance Confirmation from all Accounts periodically.
Cost
Maximize and increase conversion premium of VAP. Regularly monitor price & discount. Create and increase customer base.System, Governance & People developmentMeet every quarter with plant & other functional teams to resolve pain areas of customers. Review and mentor performance.
