Job Description Title Efficiency/Vehicle Energy Flow SiL engineer Responsibilities: • Integration of Vehicle (ICE/EV/Hybrid) in Software in Loop environment and checking system behavior & Energy flow. • Support with the required SiL release wrt timeline, Troubleshooting issues and resolution. • Understanding of the HiL and SiL E/E Network design processes and Tool chains • Understanding vehicle application and calibration • Good understanding of signal frame mapping • Analyzing the impact of change in Software on Energyflow in Software in the loop environment • Automation of Modeling and Integration Workflow • Process adherence by team for deliverables. • Execute scheduled tasks and timely completion of implementations with documentation & required quality. • Development of Python based tools for the project Responsibilities: • Works as a fully contributing team member with independent planning & execution responsibilities • Applies own judgement to independently determine a course of action, which is then executed independently post review • Troubleshooting issues quickly and supporting the team to identify the root cause Job Specification Designation : Engineer Experience : 3-4 years Education : UG[B.Tech/B.E.](Mechanical,Aerospace, ECE,EEE), or PG [(Electrical / Electronics, Mechatronics, Vehicle Systems or equivalent) Role: Efficiency/Vehicle Energy Flow SiL engineer (Automotive) Project : SiL Energy Efficiency SiL Business Unit : Mercedes Benz Cars Technical Skills: Experience in • Deep System understanding of Vehicle. HEV & BEV. • Ability to do Plant modeling in Matlab\Simulink environment. • Programming skills required - m-Scripting, Python (Mandatory) • Good understanding of communication protocols like CAN, LIN , FlexRay/ Automotive Ethernet • Good analytical skills in identifying issues related to Plant model and Control software • Experience in usage of tool chain like Matlab/Simulink, Silver. Tool: • Experience in usage of tool chain like Silver, Matlab/Simulink • Programming skills required - m-Scripting, Python • Atlassian tool suite Nice to Have: • Successful track record in Project execution : Ownership of project activities and getting it delivered
