Senior Test Engineer - Workday Payroll and Benefits

The Workday HCM Core position at QualiZeal involves validating Bswift benefits enrollment workflows, eligibility rules, and data exchange (PECI/EIB) between Workday and Bswift. You will be responsible for conducting various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, to identify defects and ensure software stability. Tracking and reporting defects using tools like SmartSheets, JIRA, or Servicenow will be a key part of your role, along with collaborating with developers and functional analysts to resolve issues. You will also be expected to develop and maintain automated test scripts using Workday testing tools such as Workday Studio and Enterprise Interface Builder to streamline the testing process and increase test coverage. Validating EIBs, integrations, and reports between Workday and Bswift will be crucial, as well as documenting test plans, test cases, test results, and other relevant artifacts to maintain thorough documentation and ensure traceability throughout the testing process. Continuous evaluation and improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality will be essential. Staying updated on Workday HCM platform updates, new features, and best practices in Workday testing to incorporate relevant advancements into the testing approach is also part of the role. Qualifications and Skills: - Experience with Bswift or similar benefits administration platforms and their integration with Workday. - Hands-on experience with Workday tools such as Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Report Writer. - Solid understanding of Workday business processes, compensation rules, and security roles as they relate to testing. - Strong data validation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, TestRail). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
