Job Description

As a Senior Test Engineer - Electrification at our vibrant international team, you will play a crucial role in the testing activities of cloud-based energy automation products and components. Your responsibilities will include analyzing customer issues, creating test plans and strategies, understanding business needs and technical requirements, designing and executing test cases, and ensuring delivery meets quality standards. Additionally, you will provide feedback on software usability and functionality to contribute to continuous improvement. To excel in this role, you are required to have a B.E./B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/MCA/MSc in Computer Science with 5 to 10 years of experience in software testing in the energy automation domain. Your expertise should include working in the electrical domain, requirement analysis, test specification, test design, test execution, setting up test environments, and functional and nonfunctional testing of SaaS applications, particularly AWS-based. Knowledge of protocols such as MQTT, IEC61850, and experience in test automation tools will be advantageous. Proficiency in programming languages like Typescript and Java, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, are essential for this role. You should be a quick learner, adaptable to new technologies, and possess effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
