Senior Test Automation Engineer

As a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer at our company, you will have the opportunity to take on advanced testing responsibilities and contribute significantly to our quality assurance efforts. In addition to this, you will play a key role in mentoring junior team members and driving continuous improvement in our testing processes. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the design and execution of complex automated test cases. - Developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts. - Mentoring junior team members and providing guidance on best practices. - Analyzing test results to identify opportunities for test coverage improvements. - Participating in code reviews and collaborating with developers on testing strategies. - Executing performance and load testing using appropriate tools. - Implementing automated regression testing into CI/CD pipelines. - Troubleshooting and resolving intricate automation challenges. - Documenting test processes and outcomes for future reference. - Contributing to the continuous improvement of test methodologies and procedures. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using issue tracking tools such as Azure DevOps. - Analyzing test results, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve product quality. - Advocating for quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field. Skills and experience needed: - 6+ years of experience in the software industry with a strong background in design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for software testing. - Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript or CodeceptJs Framework. - Strong knowledge and experience with automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, or Cypress. - Ability to design and implement sophisticated test scenarios. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps. - Capability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. - Strong problem-solving skills to address automation issues. - Advanced understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab. - Excellent team collaboration and communication skills. - Knowledge of project management tools like JIRA. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Excellent communication skills in English are a must.
