The Investment Solutions Services (ISS) delivery team provides systems development, implementation and support services for FIL's global Investment Management businesses across asset management lifecyle. We support Fund Managers, Research Analysts, Traders and Investment Services Operations in all of FIL's international locations, including London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.

You will be joining this position as Senior Test Analyst in Quality Engineering chapter, and therefore be responsible for database-centric applications within the Data teams based out of Gurgaon, India. Here is what your day-to-day responsibilities will look like:

• Designing BDD Gherkin test scenarios for database workflows using Python.
• Automating data validation and transformation processes using pandas and numpy.
• Developing test suites for Oracle with performance and integrity checks.
• Leveraging Gen AI tools for intelligent test generation, prioritization, and diagnostics.
• Creating parameterized test data and queries using YAML configurations.
• Maintaining test data lifecycle including synthetic generation, anonymization, and refresh strategies.
• Contributing to defect isolation with evidence-rich logs and diagnostics.
• Continuously refactoring tests for stability, speed, and reuse.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, with a focus on database applications.
• Strong Python skills for automation, data shaping, and modular test design.
• Proficiency in pandas and numpy for large dataset comparison and statistical validation.
• Familiarity with BDD practices and Gherkin syntax.
• Experience with Gen AI tools and workflows in testing environments.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of Investment Banking domain.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
