In the role of Senior Modernization Software Engineer at ExperSolve, an Ensono company, you will contribute to modernizing clients" mainframe solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading client meetings, applying Java or C# coding skills, developing core libraries for modernized environments, assuming technical leadership on projects, and providing consultation to junior team members. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead client meetings and interactions, being the relentless ally for the client - Apply Java or C# coding skills in an Eclipse or Visual Studio modernization environment - Develop core Java or C# libraries for modernized environments - Assume technical leadership on projects to test modernized code - Provide consultation and mentorship to junior team members **Qualifications Required:** - 7+ years of coding experience in Java or C#, SQL - Experience in software testing, debugging, troubleshooting - Problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills - Experience with object-oriented programming in Java, C#, or similar languages - Familiarity with Eclipse or Visual Studio, Spring or .NET, and relational databases (SQL/MYSQL/ORACLE) **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in mentoring junior colleagues - Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud technologies - Undergraduate/Postgraduate degree, coding boot camp certification, or equivalent experience - Familiarity with legacy languages or databases like Mainframe, IDEAL, COBOL, CICS, JCL, Datacom, DB2 Ensono offers comprehensive strategic and managed services for mission-critical applications, supporting organizations in their digital transformation journey.
