Senior Technologist

As a Process Engineer, your role involves providing support to manufacturing to achieve performance targets and leading the technology input into the root cause analysis of complex process/engineering issues. You will be responsible for defining improvements and upgrades in existing processes, equipment, and technologies to enhance capacities and process efficiencies. Additionally, identifying, justifying, and prioritizing plant improvements for PIOs, CAPEX, and REVAMP projects will be crucial, along with supporting their implementation and reviewing process engineering documents. Your responsibilities will also include evaluating technologies, catalysts, chemicals, additives, and fuels, as well as auditing and benchmarking plant/product/energy performance. Ensuring the achievement of set milestones for pilot/scale-up studies, anticipating constraints/trends in technology and product application range, and recommending alternatives for implementation are key aspects of your role. You will participate in commercial plant trials, develop, validate, customize, and maintain simulation/APC models, and prepare final technology comparison reports. Moreover, participation in PSM activities and coaching/mentoring the onboarding and development of the GETs (technology) will be part of your responsibilities. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors or Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering - Relevant industrial experience (8-10 years) with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. - Operational experience in plant processes related to VCM, EDC, PVC As a Process Engineer, you are expected to have a thorough knowledge of chemical engineering, codes, and standards, as well as process technology in the respective domain. You should be capable of working independently, taking actions on technical issues within your field of expertise, and actively communicating and networking within your plant, site, project team(s), and technology network. Your ability to make expert contributions at meetings, network, and influence colleagues across a broader range of disciplines and department/project teams will be essential. Furthermore, possessing good interpersonal skills, complex problem-solving skills, and expertise in process design review, creating design standards, process simulation, pinch analysis, and CW/Flare Network will be advantageous in fulfilling your responsibilities effectively.,
