Job Title: Senior Technical Program Manager Location: Hyderabad Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 15+ Years Team: Platform Engineering Team About the Role We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong technical foundation in Integration and Middleware platforms (IBM ACE, IBM Data Power, IBM MQ, Tibco BW) and AWS Cloud Services to join our Platform Engineering team. As a TPM, you will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of highly visible, technically complex programs across multiple teams and domains, with an emphasis on resilience, scalability, security , and customer impact . This is a high-impact leadership role that bridges engineering excellence and operational rigor to drive the delivery of next-generation distributed cloud services. You will work alongside world-class engineers, architects, and cross-functional leaders to define, execute, and evolve programs aligned with strategic product roadmaps and platform objectives. Key Responsibilities Drive end-to-end execution of complex programs, from requirements gathering to delivery and operational handoff . Analyze the requirements, work closely with Architects for preparing Architecture and Design, Staffing the right teams, collaborating with multiple cross functional teams for successful execution of program Track and report the program health to all the stake holders, identify risks and create mitigation plans Lead technical programs involving IBM Data Power, IBM ACE, IBM MQ, Tibco BW) Develop and manage roadmaps in coordination with architecture, platform, and product teams. Partner with engineering teams to define milestones, KPIs, and incremental delivery plans using Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe). Define functional specs, UAT criteria, and ensure robust telemetry is in place for data-driven decision-making. Anticipate bottlenecks, manage dependencies, and balance business needs with technical constraints. Establish governance for stakeholder communication, risk management, and delivery accountability. Collaborate closely with SREs, AMS, Infra and Cloud Ops to enforce high standards of security, compliance, and operational excellence. Represent program status and outcomes in executive briefings , synthesizing complex issues into clear, actionable narratives. Lead incident response workflows and coordinate high-priority fixes and retrospective analysis. Minimum Qualifications 12+ years of technical program or product management experience in complex, cloud-based environments. Strong engineering background with 8+ years of experience in software development, particularly in IBM Data Power, IBM ACE, IBM MQ, Tibco BW Proven success delivering distributed systems on AWS (ECS/EKS, S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, etc.) . Hands-on experience with Middleware technologies Deep understanding of Agile frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence , SAFe). Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity and change. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in managing global programs with distributed teams. Experience in FinTech, Retail Domain with Payments experience Familiarity with DevOps practices, observability, CI/CD pipelines . Expertise in cloud cost optimization , regional compliance, or secure cloud infrastructure. Experience in operational workflows such as incident management, capacity planning , or launch readiness .
