As a Senior Tech Lead - Vice President at Barclays, your role involves effectively monitoring and maintaining the bank's critical technology infrastructure, while resolving more complex technical issues to minimize disruptions to operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide technical support for the service management function to resolve more complex issues for a specific client or group of clients. - Develop the support model and service offering to enhance customer service. - Execute preventative maintenance tasks on hardware and software, utilizing monitoring tools and metrics to identify and address potential issues. - Maintain a knowledge base with detailed documentation of resolved cases for future reference and knowledge sharing. - Analyze system logs, error messages, and user reports to identify root causes of hardware, software, and network issues, and provide resolutions. - Implement automation, monitoring enhancements, capacity management, resiliency, and business continuity management. - Identify and remediate potential service impacting risks and issues. - Proactively assess support activities and implement automations for stability and efficiency. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in people management, guiding, motivating, and developing employees. - Proficiency in stakeholder communication and building trust. - Technical proficiency in Monitoring & Automation Tools. - Strategic thinking, business acumen, resiliency, and recovery planning.
