About the Role:

Senior Manager Corporate Tax

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance & Reporting

  • Prepare and review direct and indirect

    Tax Returns

    in line with statutory requirements.
  • Oversee

    Information Returns

    and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
  • Prepare and review

    Tax Provisions

    and

    Tax Computations

    for statutory and management reporting.
  • Manage and perform

    complex reconciliations

    of accounts and credits.
  • Conduct

    ledger scrutiny

    and analyze trial balances for accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure that

    books of accounts

    are updated and reconciled as per statutory returns.

Tax Analysis & Documentation

  • Conduct thorough analysis of

    group company transactions

    and intercompany arrangements.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date

    tax documentation

    and records of transactions.
  • Assist in

    tax audits

    and

    statutory audits

    , including handling queries from tax authorities and external auditors.
  • Support

    tax officer queries, audits, and assessments

    effectively and efficiently.

Adhoc & Strategic Tasks

  • Handle

    adhoc requests

    and provide insights in a timely manner.
  • Manage

    ambiguous and unstructured problems

    with strategic thinking and sound judgment.
  • Provide

    regular updates

    and reports to executives and leadership teams.
  • Perform other tax-related services as assigned.

Required Experience:

  • Graduate or Chartered Accountant (CA) with

    11-13 years of post-qualification experience

    in corporate tax.
  • Strong, hands-on experience in

    corporate and international taxation

    .
  • In-depth understanding of

    financial statements

    and

    group company transactions

    .
  • Proven experience handling

    tax audits, reconciliations, and tax computations

    in complex organizations.
