Senior Tableau Developer

Role Overview: As a Senior BI Report Developer at Infoblox, you will be part of the Revenue Operations team in EMEA, reporting to the Senior Manager of Revenue Operations based in the UK. Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver intuitive dashboards and reports using Tableau, ensuring stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and Operations have access to accurate and actionable insights. You will collaborate with Data Engineering to optimize data pipelines and partner with business leaders to translate complex requirements into meaningful visualizations that enable data-driven decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports supporting executive, sales, and finance decision-making. - Develop and optimize Tableau data sources and extracts, ensuring efficient SQL queries and high performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve Tableau issues including performance, data accuracy, and connectivity. - Document Tableau development standards and reporting governance to promote consistency and reusability. - Provide training, guidance, and support to business users to expand self-service BI adoption. - Collaborate with Data Engineering to optimize pipelines and data models for Tableau reporting. - Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive, actionable dashboards. - Monitor Tableau usage and performance, making recommendations for continuous improvement. - Stay updated with Tableau releases and BI best practices to enhance reporting capability. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience developing Tableau dashboards and data visualizations. - Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large, complex datasets. - Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and impactful visual outputs. - Expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud, including performance tuning and troubleshooting. - Understanding of BI concepts such as data modeling, KPI definition, and governance. - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly Finance, Sales Ops, and Data Engineering. - Excellent communication skills to explain insights to technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong design sense to create user-friendly, visually engaging dashboards. - Experience providing user training, documentation, and driving BI adoption. - Knowledge of additional BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Qlik) and cloud platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks) is a plus.
