Job Title: Sr System Engineer Experience Required: 5 + Years Location: [Chennai] Employment Type: [Full-Time] Required Position: Total - (2 in Chennai) Roles & Responsibilities Virtualizations like VMware, Hyper-V, Implementation, and management task Windows, Azure, AWS, and office 365 configuration and trouble shooting Server backup solutions like Symantec or Arcserve or Veeam or any other similar back up implementation and maintenance. Windows server infrastructure handling, more specific to windows ad, exchange, DNS implementation and troubleshooting, and print servers. Extensive experience in design, maintenance, and support of a Microsoft ad / exchange infrastructure including performance, capacity, and recovery technologies. Strong analytical skills, ability to diagnose the interoperability of a diverse set of technologies such as exchange, active directory. Strong system analysis, architecture, design, and administration skills Strong knowledge of ITIL practices, configuration, change and release management. Strong infrastructure management background, capacity planning, performance management and security Knowledge on basic firewall/router function and trouble shooting System Firmware Management for Infra Services - VCenter, ESXi Hosts In-depth knowledge and work experience on all aspects of business continuity and disaster recovery utilizing state of the art LAN and WAN techniques In-depth knowledge and work experience of windows server 2019 and above, Linux system and ESX In-depth knowledge and work experience of Patching Schedule, Patching Records, Patching Follow Up - VA Scan. Other responsibilities include: Backup review. Bi-Weekly user access review Hardware validity & management Basic Security Settings review - CIS Standards Basic Health check User Management review AD + DNS Management (AD User Accounts + GPO + CNAME records) Infra Application Management (after go-live) - VCenter, CyberArk, Veeam, WSUS, TrendMicro (Symantec replacement), MSSP issues and license renewal Various Router SMS Gateway Management - Contact List, Services Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
