Senior Systems Engineer

Job Title: Senior System Engineer Location: Gurgaon Job Type: Full-Time Experience:2-4 Years Notice Period-Immediate Joiners We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java-based enterprise applications , microservices architecture , and business process management systems . This role requires hands-on experience with JBPM , Drools , and modern front-end technologies like Angular , along with a solid understanding of Linux environments and object-oriented design principles . Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot. Implement business workflows using JBPM and business rules using Drools. Develop and maintain front-end components using Angular. Integrate and optimize database interactions using Hibernate with Oracle/PostgreSQL. Extend JBPM functionality through custom Work Items and other extensions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development and production environments. Follow best practices in software development, including design patterns and code reviews. Mandatory Skills: Strong experience in Java/J2EE , Spring , Spring Boot , and Hibernate Proficiency in Microservices architecture Hands-on experience with JBPM and Drools Experience with Angular for front-end development Good knowledge of Linux operating systems Experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases Understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and common design patterns Experience with JBPM extensions (e.g., Work Items) Desired Skills: Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL Experience in database modeling and query tuning Familiarity with LOMA Insurance Certifications Prior experience working on insurance administration platforms/products Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Regards, Infosys BPM Recruitment team
