Alaric Ventures is hiring for Senior System Administrator -Azure Admin- Mohali Location -WFO Position Overview: As a vital component of our Managed Services team, the Microsoft Cloud Solutions Engineer specializes in the deployment, migration, and optimization of Microsoft cloud solutions, including M365, Azure, and SQL. This highly client-facing role demands outstanding communication skills to cater to a wide range of client needs, from technical to non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will manage several projects simultaneously, from initial design to implementation, showcasing the ability to self-start, own projects, and drive them to successful completion. Client Service: Provide exceptional client service, promptly and pleasantly answering calls and emails from clients and vendors. Aim to build and maintain long-term client/vendor relationships through professional, friendly, and patient communication. Uphold the highest standards of client service, focusing on client satisfaction and relationship management. IT Service and Support Functions: Implement and support clients' infrastructure in the Microsoft cloud environment, including core business applications. Develop a thorough understanding of clients' businesses and how Microsoft solutions enhance their operations. Participate in and manage Microsoft cloud projects, ensuring aligned deliverables to clients' needs. Maintain and optimize Microsoft cloud solutions, advising clients on maximizing their Microsoft investments. Documentation, Reporting, and SLAs: Regularly report to the Service Manager about client needs, progress, and concerns. Update and maintain documentation for client configurations, migrations, and processes. Communicate effectively with clients regarding technical support progress, changes, or expected disruptions. Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning about Microsoft technologies and obtain relevant certifications. Stay abreast of industry trends to enhance professional skills and knowledge. Administrative: Document all activities and time worked accurately on the appropriate service ticket. Ensure timely entry of worked hours on tickets and weekly submission of timesheets. Experience: Proven experience in implementing, migrating, and managing Microsoft cloud solutions (M365, Azure). Experience with SQL and database management is a significant plus. Knowledge or experience with Google GSuite is desirable. Knowledge: Strong understanding of Microsoft cloud services and infrastructure. Familiarity with cloud migration strategies, MFA, and security projects. Comprehensive knowledge of network services and protocols relevant to cloud environments. Core Competencies: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in understandable terms. Professionalism and business etiquette in all interactions. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Team player with a collaborative approach to project management. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows workstation, server maintenance, and network settings configuration. Expertise in Office 365 account support, Active Directory management, and network troubleshooting. Education and/or Experience: CompTIA certifications are preferred. Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications are advantageous. Microsoft MCSA certification or equivalent experience in Microsoft environments is highly valued.
