Job brief: We are looking for passionate and detail-oriented curriculum planners who will be interested in creating engaging lesson plans and quality resources that ensure a successful teaching-learning process in the classroom environment. The individuals should also have an understanding and be aware of how digital technology has reshaped education. Role and Responsibilities: Researching and developing quality lesson plans and learning resources for grades 6 to 10 . Targeting achievable and productive learning objectives for each chapter Using effective and relevant teaching methodologies and strategies including interdisciplinary questions and activities. Creating a plan that ensures an interactive classroom environment and aims at the holistic development of the learners. Review & enhance the quality and practicality of lesson plans and learning resources along with relevant research for the development of curriculum-integrated content. Oversee the development of a progressive and challenging curriculum Adapt to existing work processes and be willing to undertake responsibilities for new projects. Brainstorm for better ideation to develop new content and academic products. Identify core areas to improve academic solutions, learner performance and create assessments. Showcase teamwork across academic operations, and provide mentorship. Use and integrate all the features of MS Word and be able to maintain a real-time work progress tracker Training Teachers from time to time. (This would require travelling PAN India as and when required) Education: Masters in History/Geography and a B.Ed. degree from a reputed University. Experience: Candidates must have 5 to 8 years of experience in teaching/curriculum planning. Teaching experience of a minimum 2-3 years as a secondary school teacher will be required. Should have experience as a Social Studies teacher for secondary grades Technical skillset: Should have excellent subject knowledge. Should have working knowledge of Blooms Taxonomy Should have working knowledge of using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Proven understanding/skills: Should have excellent written and oral communication skills. Should have the ability to understand and analyse any given chapter Should have the ability to create and source engaging content for students. Should enjoy working in a team and across teams. Should have the ability to meet tight deadlines and effectively manage the workload. Location: Saltlake, Sector V (Work form Office)
