Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with a specialization in backend systems, particularly those with experience in operating at hyperscale (100M+ queries/day). The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure backend services that drive our AI-driven protection systems. What You'll Do: - Design, develop, and scale backend services that can manage millions of concurrent requests on a daily basis. - Implement resilient APIs, database architectures, caching layers, and microservices to ensure high availability and performance levels. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as DevOps, Data Science, and Product to define architecture, ensure scalability, and enhance system performance. - Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement optimization solutions. - Contribute to best practices and provide mentorship to junior engineers in developing scalable and maintainable code. What We Expect: - Demonstrated experience in developing backend systems at hyperscale, specifically handling a minimum of 100M queries per day. - Proficiency in Node.js, Python, Go, or Java. - In-depth understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectures, load balancing, caching strategies (e.g., Redis, Memcached), and database optimization. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and a keen interest in performance optimization.
