Senior SQL Database Developer

You are a highly skilled and experienced Senior SQL Database Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL databases to ensure efficiency, security, and scalability. Your deep expertise in SQL development, performance tuning, database design, and optimization, along with a solid understanding of database architecture, will be crucial. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing and designing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views. You will design, implement, and optimize relational database schemas, create and maintain database objects, and ensure data integrity and optimization. Performance tuning and optimization will be key, as you analyze query performance, optimize SQL statements, and use techniques like indexing and partitioning to improve database performance. You will also lead data integration efforts, support data migration projects, collaborate with various stakeholders, provide technical guidance, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot database issues, and document database structures and procedures. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, 5-7 years of experience in SQL development, and expertise in SQL, SQL Server, T-SQL, database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and security best practices. Experience with large-scale SQL databases, cloud databases, data integration, and ETL processes is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are essential. You will enjoy a full-time position with flexible work hours, but only work from the office is available. Occasional on-call support for production database systems may be required.
