Senior SQA Analyst

Job Description

We are currently looking for a full-time Software Quality Analyst to be part of a team that is responsible for delivering timely, high-quality releases that delight our customers in the upstream oil & gas sector. You will work in a collaborative, multi-functional, multi-national team environment to design, develop, test, deliver, and support desktop and web applications within the upstream energy analytics space. About You: Youre highly collaborative - you have an affinity for finding solutions through discussions with team members Youre a problem solver you enjoy solving complex problems, and are comfortable exploring them even if the problem and solution are not yet well-defined Youre always improving something whether its learning a new testing methodology, or finding better ways to do things in your team or organizationally, continuous improvement is important to you Youre practical you assess the circumstances and make the best decision based on the facts Some of the things youd be doing as a quality analyst on our team: Be an active and collaborative team member as part of an agile development team of 5-10 people. Design and implement manual and automated tests for a web application using Azure DevOps, Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Snowflake, and Postman. Support testing of existing desktop applications. Follow SQA best practices and contribute to new ideas in testing Work closely with other team members and other teams through feature implementation to ensure were adding customer value Assist our customer-facing support team in solving client issues, when necessary Contribute insights and suggestions for continuous improvement Collaborate with our multi-national development teams Qualifications that would make you a good fit for this role: 6+ years of experience in software development industry Experience designing and executing tests in a web-based or desktop environment Agile experience is strongly preferred Some experience with databases Some experience writing test code Some experience with API testing Working with Git as a version control system Some experience with developer tools within browsers Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
