Senior Sourcing Specialist

You are a Sr Sourcing Specialist with 3+ years of experience in the Personal Care / FMCG / Consumer Brands industry. You will be joining UrbanGabru and UrbanYog, pioneering Indian personal care brands under the GlobalBees family. Your role involves overseeing procurement and sourcing processes in the beauty and personal care sector, identifying market trends, finding manufacturers for new product development, and mentoring junior team members. Your key responsibilities include managing procurement and sourcing processes, staying updated on market trends, sourcing the right manufacturers for new product development, guiding and mentoring junior staff, developing and maintaining SOPs, and understanding product packaging requirements and Chinese product manufacturing. You should have expertise in strategic sourcing, procurement, and product development. This includes procurement of new product materials, vendor identification and onboarding, cost negotiation, supplier risk assessment, and knowledge of product packaging standards. You are expected to have at least 3 years of experience in procurement and sourcing in the beauty and personal care sector, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
