Senior Software Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automated test scripts.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test data for both manual and automated tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the SDLC to ensure quality from planning to deployment.
• Analyse test results, detect issues, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts.
• Continuously enhance test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to performance, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing efforts.
• Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing with at least 3+ years in automation.
• Strong experience in automation tools such as

  Selenium, Playwright, Cypress (Optional)

• Proficient in scripting/programming languages such as

  JavaScript, TypeScript

  ,

  Java, Python,

• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools like

  JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr

• Familiarity with version control systems such as

  Git

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like

  Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps

Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with API testing tools such as

  Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI

• Knowledge of performance testing tools like

  JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner

  .
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
