Job Title: Senior Software Test Engineer About The Role Leadsquared is seeking a meticulous and proactive QA Engineer to ensure the quality and performance of our Product You will be instrumental in verifying the functionality, reliability, and scalability of our software through a combination of manual and automated testing techniques This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute significantly to our product development lifecycle within an agile environment, Requirements Should have 24 years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong emphasis on API and automation testing, Manual Testing (Basic Requirement) Design and execute high-level manual test cases for scenarios where automation coverage is limited or impractical, Identify and document defects effectively using a bug tracking system (e-g , Jira), Perform regression testing selectively for critical workflows not yet automated, Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and provide feedback on test coverage gaps, Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, API Testing (Primary Focus) Design, develop, and execute API tests using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent frameworks, Validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of backend services through automated test suites, Contribute to the automation-first strategy for API validation across various microservices and endpoints, Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines for early defect detection and continuous feedback, Maintain, review, and enhance API test coverage as backend services evolve, Automation & Tools (Primary Focus) Build, enhance, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, WebdriverIO, or Playwright, Experience with Playwright is an added advantage, Ensure wide test coverage for critical UI components and user journeys via automation, Seamlessly integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster releases, Stay informed about the latest testing tools, frameworks, and best practices, and proactively recommend improvements to enhance testing efficiency and coverage,
