Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at OOLIO, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team, working closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of product quality. You will play a key role in owning the QA process within your assigned POD, focusing on test strategy, execution, and scalability to guarantee top-notch performance and reliability of the app. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing test strategies, performing manual testing for web, mobile, and API-based applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation in QA practices. If you are passionate about building efficient and impactful QA processes, this role is perfect for you. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and implement test strategy within the respective PODs to drive results. - Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test strategies for SaaS-based products. - Set up and maintain end-to-end testing frameworks for high product quality. - Perform manual testing for various types of applications. - Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve defects. - Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, performance, and security testing. - Define and implement best practices for quality assurance in a startup environment. - Analyze testing results proactively to improve product stability and performance. - Contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement & deployment. - Handle the sole responsibility of the quality emerging from different PODs and collaborate with automation QA. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in software testing with a strong understanding of QA methodologies. - Strong working experience in Manual Testing, Regression Testing, Database, and API Testing. - Experience in agile, fast-paced startup environments. - Experience with CI/CD & software development process. - Understanding of Web fundamentals and ISTQB certification is a plus. - Past experience in testing handheld embedded devices, iOS/Android Apps, and restaurant POS systems is beneficial. **About OOLIO:** Founded in 2019, OOLIO is Australia's largest hospitality tech provider, offering innovative solutions to streamline operations and drive revenue growth for dynamic hospitality brands globally.
