Role Description We’re hiring a Application Support Lead - Data & Reporting solutions for a full-time, on-site role at our Pune office. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Lead to manage client interactions, application support activities including data investigation, troubleshooting regulatory reports and end to end incident management across data and reporting systems. The role is responsible for ensuring timely response to user issues, maintaining high service levels, driving root-cause resolution for recurring issues, and producing operational dashboards and performance metrics for leadership visibility. Key Responsibilities : · Manage client communication and serve as the primary support interface · Investigate data discrepancies and troubleshoot issues in regulatory reports · Coordinate with technical and business teams for root-cause analysis and permanent fixes · Own incident management lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation · Monitor platform performance and prepare operational insights/dashboards · Monitor application health, SLAs and KPIs; build operational dashboards & service performing reports · Ensure accurate tracking and communication of updates to internal and external stakeholders · Support regulatory change management ad release readiness activities · Familiarise and master the Smarbl’s proprietary Smart Reg Platform, used by banks for regulatory reporting and compliance Measure of success · High customer satisfaction & strong SLA compliance · Faster resolution cycles & reduced repeat issues · Improved system reliability with measurable impact · Strong partnership with clients and engineering teams Person Specification : Experience : 5+ years in application support, preferably in BFSI Reporting functions with an excellent understanding of Service management principles Technical Skills : Very good SQL (select, joins, filters) and Data analytical capability and Data management principles. Conversant with Excel (lookups, pivot tables) Communication : Strong verbal and written communication for business stakeholder updates Problem Solving : Ability to quickly diagnose issues and suggest solutions Service Orientation : High responsiveness, SLA discipline, and user empathy Process Management : Experience maintaining dashboards, logs, retrospectives Banking Knowledge : Good understanding of banking systems, products, and reports (preferred) Collaboration : Works well across cross-functional teams, including Product and Build. Maintain healthy working relationships with teams. Role Description We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with 3–7 years of hands-on expertise in software testing, automation, and performance testing. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, proactive, and thrives under pressure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality product releases , working closely with our Agile development team. In this role, you will plan, develop, and execute rigorous testing processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review requirements, write test cases, perform manual testing, and contribute to process improvements. Monitoring software performance, identifying and documenting defects, and assisting in troubleshooting will be integral aspects of your daily activities. You will play a pivotal role in upholding software quality standards and driving continual improvement within teams. The role is responsible for ensuring high quality and timely deliveries for clients. We follow an alternate-month release cycle , which means we work under tight timelines and expect agility, ownership, and commitment from every team member. Key Responsibilities : · Write clear, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases · Perform functional , regression , performance , and integration testing · Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium and AI-driven testing tools · Execute manual and automated test cases and ensure high-quality releases · Contribute to performance testing , identifying bottlenecks and optimizing application performance · Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements · Participate actively in Agile ceremonies —standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives · Use GitHub repositories for code versioning, automation script management, and documentation · Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely closure · Perform comprehensive regression testing before each major release, identifying and resolving defects to maintain reliability · Take complete ownership of the QA process for assigned modules and releases · Adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively under tight release schedules Measure of success · Achieve comprehensive test coverage across functional, regression, and performance areas, driving measurable improvements in overall software quality · High percentage of defects detected before release · Reduction in post‑release defects and production incidents · Positive feedback from end‑users on product stability and performance Qualifications Experience : 3-7 years in Quality assurance, preferably in BFSI Reporting functions with hands on expertise in Software testing, Automation.
