Senior Software QA Automation Engineer

You will be joining Bright Horizons Back-Up Care engineering team as a Senior Software QA Automation Engineer based in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for developing QE Automation strategies and approaches for both web and native mobile applications of the Back-Up Care product. Your main tasks will include automating regression and new feature testing, writing automation tests, executing QE Automation from User Stories to End-to-End tests, and establishing new areas of automation for the product line. As an integral part of an Agile development team, you will collaborate closely with the engineering team throughout the development process. You should have a strong foundation in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Swift, along with experience in automation testing methodologies including UI, Continuous Integration, Functional, Performance, Regression, and Load. Additionally, experience in API automation test development and strategies is required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to create automation test strategies, write test plans and cases, execute test tools, and report results effectively. You should be able to deliver high-quality work within tight schedules, maintain and scale automation suites, investigate and troubleshoot automation issues independently, and possess excellent technical and communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience, along with 6-8 years of software testing experience in web-based and/or mobile applications, is preferred. Preferred experience includes familiarity with tools such as TestComplete, Advanced JavaScript, SQL, BDD Processes, LoadRunner, Azure DevOps, and Continuous Integration systems like Git. The position reports to the Senior Manager, BUC Quality Engineering.
