Description
Lead the design and deveopment of scaabe, muti-tenant microservices that power the patform. Architect and impement compex patform soutions, ensuring high performance, security, and maintainabiity. Work cosey with peer teams, e.g. SRE, to ensure the patform is highy avaiabe and optimized for cost and resource usage. Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a coaborative environment and promoting best practices. Coaborate directy with interna users (deveopers, technica owners, security speciaists) to understand their needs and deiver taiored soutions. Hep define and maintain patform standards, incuding code quaity, testing, and security. Contribute to the deveopment of the deveoper porta, integrating features that improve the overa deveoper experience. Drive patform improvements based on feedback from users and performance metrics. Troubeshoot and resove compex issues reated to patform performance, security, and scaabiity. Participate in on-ca rotations to provide support for production issues when needed. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technoogies, and best practices to continuay evove the patform. Required education Bacheor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technica and professiona expertise 8+ years of experience in software deveopment, with a focus on patform engineering and microservice architectures. Expertise in Goang and JavaScript (React.js) for deveoping fu-stack soutions. Extensive experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other container orchestration patforms. Deep understanding of muti-tenant system design and architecture. Strong background in coud-native deveopment, CI/CD pipeines, and automation. Expertise in designing and impementing APIs and microservices. Soid understanding of security best practices for patform deveopment and management. Deep understanding of at east one pubic coud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Proven experience eading or mentoring engineering teams, with a strong focus on coaboration and knowedge sharing. Exceent probem-soving skis and the abiity to tacke compex technica chaenges. Famiiarity with service mesh technoogies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and distributed tracing. Strong coaboration skis and experience working cross-functionay with teams ike Infrastructure, SRE, security, and appication owners. Preferred technica and professiona experience Experience with extending Kubernetes/OpenShift, incuding deveoping custom Operators or other Kubernetes-native soutions. Experience working in an enterprise environment with mutipe deveopment teams. Understanding of IBM coud infrastructure. Prior experience buiding or contributing to a deveoper porta. Famiiarity with monitoring, ogging, and observabiity toos.
