We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience to develop innovative software Partner with the best As a Senior Software Engineer, you will engineer and develop versatile products and services for the energy industry. As a Senior Software Engineer , you will be responsible for: Working independently and contributing to the immediate team and to other teams across the business. Performing research and development to generate/maintain robust engineering applications. Designing/developing engineering/science/math models, UIs, and user workflows. Developing and maintaining knowledge of assigned products and subject areas. Maintaining interfaces with team, stakeholders and customers as required. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor's Degree with minimum 7-11 years’ experience in software engineering. Have programming experience with ownership of significant engineering applications (Windows preferred). Have experience with Visual C/C++ on Windows platform Preferred to have experience in using source control systems such as TFS, Subversion, Git. Preferred to have experience in using software build systems such as TFS, TeamCity. Advanced Engineering degree (Petroleum/Chemical/Mechanical). PhD preferred. Proven problem solving, math, logic, and analytical abilities. Have proven ability to research/develop algorithms and models for physical phenomena relevant to oil/gas operations such as completions, wellbore intervention, well construction. Have experience in fluid mechanics, fluid/particle dynamics, wellbore hydraulics, and reservoir injection/stimulation modeling. Experience with matrix acidizing modeling is a strong plus. Ten+ years programming experience with ownership of significant engineering applications (Windows preferred). 6+ years product development experience with Visual C/C++ on Windows platform. Experience with independent work on complex projects with attention to detail. Good language and communication skills. Experience in user interface design and development. Preferred to have experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML5 programming and related frameworks.
