Senior Software Engineer - Telecom

We are searching for a skilled Senior Software Engineer with 4-5 years of experience in the telecom sector, specializing in OSS/BSS. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be in charge of the comprehensive manual testing of our OSS and BSS applications to ensure they meet high-quality standards and business needs. Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements and technical specifications to develop effective manual test cases for OSS and BSS systems. You will conduct a variety of manual tests such as functional, integration, system, and regression testing, focusing on OSS/BSS components and interfaces. It is essential to document test execution results thoroughly and report defects accurately within our tracking system. Collaboration with developers and system analysts to identify and resolve issues in OSS/BSS is also a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will participate in configuring test environments relevant to OSS/BSS testing and leverage your knowledge of telecom protocols and OSS/BSS functionalities during the testing process. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and have 4-5 years of direct manual testing experience in the telecom industry. A profound understanding and practical experience in testing Telecom OSS and BSS systems are required, and familiarity with OMS data products is considered an additional skill. Proficiency in various OSS/BSS modules and their interactions, as well as experience with defect tracking tools like Jira and HP QLM, is essential. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are highly valued, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities. If you have basic experience in programming languages such as Java or Python, API testing using Postman, SQL oracle DB scripting skills, or hands-on experience in automation tools like Selenium or Playwright with Java or Python, it would be considered advantageous. As an individual contributor to releases, you must be willing to take ownership of your assigned work and collaborate effectively within a team environment. A proactive attitude towards learning new tools and technologies used within or outside the project is also expected to excel in this role.,
