Work in search technology plays a critical role in building andmaintaining the systems that power search engines and othersearch-based platforms. Withour headquarters in Puerto Rico and offices in San Francisco and India, werea global organization ona path to change the career industry Key Responsibilities: Search & Match Optimization Design and implement advanced search capabilities, including text-based search, deep search,semantic search, intent resolution, ranking, boosting, and relevance tuning. Ensure system performance at scale with advanced indexing strategies, sharding, and cachingmechanisms. Incorporate user behaviour signals (e.g., click-through rates, job applications) and feedbackloops to optimize relevance and ranking continuously. Design and execute A/B tests, multi-armed bandit experiments, and statistical models toassess the impact of search algorithm changes. Develop personalization techniques, including behavioural matching, skill mapping, andsemantic search for tailored job recommendations. Collaborate with data science teams to implement advanced resume parsing and predictivemodelling Use geospatial and temporal analytics to ensure search results are contextually relevant andactionable for candidates Prioritize bias mitigation and fairness in search recommendations to create an inclusiveplatform for diverse candidates . Required skills: Strong expertise in search technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, Solr) and search optimization(boosting, ranking, relevance tuning). Proficiency inbackend development using .Net/Java/Python, SQL, and microservicesarchitecture. Experience with message brokers (Azure service bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ) and caching tools(Redis). Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with database performance tuning and indexing for SQL and NoSQL databases. Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns Additional skills (Good to have): Exposure to machine learning or NLP for advanced search features. Exposure to vector search Familiarity with Python for automation or ML integration. Experience with observability tools for system health monitoring. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills for cross-functionalcollaboration. Versed in Agile methodology Qualifications: Engineering/ Masters Degree from a good Institute (preferably Computer Science or related) Experience required: SSE-4.5 years+ Location:Noida (Hybrid working model)
