Job Summary Shermap is an in-house developed software application used for yield analysis, data processing, and production monitoring in high-volume manufacturing. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead its support, maintenance, and migration from LabVIEW to .NET while ensuring seamless integration with existing SQL databases and manufacturing data workflows. Primary Duties & Responsibilities - Lead the support, troubleshooting, and enhancement of the existing LabVIEW-based Shermap application. - Architect, design, and implement the migration of Shermap from LabVIEW to .NET (C#/WPF/.NET Core/SQL Server). - Optimize and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to ensure data integrity and performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Sherman, and Hyderabad to ensure business continuity and smooth migration. - Develop and execute validation and integration plans to maintain production accuracy. - Provide technical mentorship and conduct code reviews for Junior Engineers. - Ensure system stability, scalability, and long-term supportability. - Experience with yield analysis software (e.g., Yield Watchdog) is a plus but not required. - Ability to travel to the U.S. as required for knowledge transfer, training, and collaboration. Education & Experience Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering (CS), Information Technology (IT), Math & Statistics. 5+ years of professional experience in software development, debugging, and system design. Skills -- Strong expertise in C#, .NET (WPF, .NET Core), and SQL Server. - Experience with SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for high-volume data processing. - Hands-on experience in LabVIEW development is a plus. - Proficiency in software debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. - Understanding of software architecture and design principles. - Experience with data visualization frameworks and GUI development for high-volume data processing. - Familiarity with heat map generation, wafer test binning visualization, and real-time decision support dashboards. - Understanding of image processing techniques, including the use of libraries such as Emgu CV/OpenCV. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment. - Experience in migrating legacy software to modern platforms. - Background in semiconductor manufacturing, yield analysis, or production software development. - Knowledge of numerical computation libraries (e.g., NCalc) for manufacturing analytics. - Understanding of Thin Plate Spline interpolation for data smoothing and transformation. - Experience with large dataset handling and performance optimization in industrial applications. - Familiarity with big data handling and analytics in manufacturing. - Excellent communication and technical documentation skills. - Willingness to travel internationally if needed.
