Senior Software Engineer - Python

Job Description You will be working as a Senior Software Engineer at NEC Software Solutions (India) Private Limited in Mumbai. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be part of a small competent team contributing to modern applications in all phases of the development process. Your role will involve development, customer liaison, and supporting business objectives while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design, through coding and testing. Key Responsibilities: - Spend a significant amount of time hands-on in the production of software for NECSWS products - Prepare and produce software releases and push them into production - Discuss requirements with customers, identify potential solutions, and develop application logic and user interfaces - Set up infrastructure needed to support updates - Collaborate with team members to ensure customer-centric development of features - Develop and improve testing strategies using suitable testing libraries - Conduct code reviews, investigate new technologies, and provide support for production systems - Provide responsive support for customer-reported issues and analyze logs to identify problems and solutions Growth and Development: - Develop new skills by working with team members and lead/partake in technical discussions within the team - Actively seek opportunities for self-training and external training Personal Attributes: - Problem-solving skills to recognize and find innovative solutions to difficult problems - Inquisitiveness to understand underlying technology of problems and solutions - Autonomy to work independently and solve problems - Motivation to set personal challenges and constantly seek growth - Integrity in dealing with honesty, transparency, and credibility - Big picture awareness to understand the scope and impact of problems and solutions Qualification Required: - B.E/ MCA graduate with 4-6 years of overall experience - Experience in JavaScript (TypeScript & React) for frontend development and Python for backend - Ability to design clean and easy-to-use user interfaces, backend programming for web applications, and speaking to users to gather requirements - Basic familiarity with core serverless AWS components and Infrastructure-as-Code - Track record of delivering software features into production and solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle - Holds or is able to hold UK NPPV-3 and SC clearances (Note: Additional information section is omitted as it does not provide any relevant details for the job description),
