Senior Software Engineer

This is a high-impact role supporting a visible modernization roadmap focused on automation, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Reduce manual and repetitive operational work through

  intelligent automation

  and modern engineering solutions.
• Assess existing manual and administrative processes and design efficient, scalable alternatives.
  
• Design and implement

  system integrations

  to ensure seamless interaction across automation components.
• Debug and resolve complex technical issues involving multiple systems and dependencies.
  
• Optimize operational workflows to simplify the experience of service owners and engineers.
  
• Support a diverse backlog ranging from process simplification to full automation of compliance and technology controls.
  
• Collaborate within a cross-functional squad to creatively solve business problems and pain points.
  
• Communicate technical ideas, designs, and solutions effectively across engineering and stakeholder teams.
  

Technical Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in

  software development

  within enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with

  Java Full Stack development

  and/or

  Python, JavaScript

  , and

  SQL

  .
• Proven experience building and consuming

  RESTful APIs

  and working with

  microservices architectures

  .
• Solid experience with

  Cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

  and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as

  Docker

  and

  Kubernetes / EKS

  .
• Experience with source control and CI/CD tooling including

  GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD, TeamCity, and Artifactory

  .
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as

  Prometheus and Grafana

  .

Engineering Practices

• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices including:
  
• Trunk-based development
  
• Unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  
• Contract testing (Pact Testing)
  
• Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
  
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery solutions.
  
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with a focus on long-term sustainability.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
