Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in the Employee Access Management program, supporting both physical and digital access by internal employees to Mastercard systems and applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Delivering high-quality business and functional requirements in the form of user stories to the development teams for the completion of the project life cycle. - Collaborating with the architect guild, analysts, and technical leads to refine requirements for new functionality and enhancements for service platforms. - Building business cases based on requirements and gap analysis to bridge gaps in system functionality vs. user requirements. - Applying a detailed understanding of Certificate signing and Privileged access management business needs to confirm requirement specifications and develop IT solutions. - Participating in requirements gathering and review sessions for complex applications, including encryption and certificate management. - Analyzing system requirements and working closely with development teams to ensure proper designs are achieved. - Providing technical support to client applications teams during implementations of new services and offering subject matter expertise for support escalations. Qualifications Required: - Overall 6-9 years of career experience in Development. - Good experience in Java and GoLang. - Excellent expertise in Linux. - Ability to quickly learn technical product knowledge, especially security-related concepts. - Expertise in full stack development with a Strong Java background (Java, Springboot, Microservices), Expertise in React, and knowledge of Golang is preferred. - Understanding of the product development lifecycle, maturity, and road-mapping exercises. - Experience working on large-scale enterprise initiatives involving multiple impact teams. - Experience leveraging or developing solutions using Information Security-related concepts and Privileged access management. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey messages at different levels. - Ability to effectively drive resolution of issues and roadblocks. - Highly motivated and proactive to ensure the success of the team and product. - High degree of ownership to deliver expected objectives. - Comprehensive experience in agile delivery methodologies (scrum, Kanban, etc.) and CI/CD. - Deep understanding of the platform, integration patterns, organizational capabilities, and company-wide assets for technical solutions. - Extensive experience in designing and implementing shared web service platforms, including front end and backend capabilities. - Demonstrated ability to operate with complete independence and autonomy. - Good to have working experience with Teleport. - Expert knowledge of Confluence, Splunk, Rally, Remedy, and JIRA tools. - Hands-on experience in code reviews and change management.,
