Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. The focus would be to drive the enhanced user experience & provide seamless integration for authentication domain. With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies Automation of common tasks build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team to User Experience & interactions to make UHG portal user journeys more seamless
• Impact of work is most often at the team level

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience
• B.E. (Computer Engineering) or equivalent from reputed engineering colleges
• 7+ years of relevant software lifecycle experience specifically focusing on UI modelling, Frontend implementation & UI guidance
• 7+ years of hands-on experience of UI modelling, UI development & UI automation
• 3+ years of working experience in working & guiding team members on UI
• Hands-on experience with designing and developing features in a microservice-based architecture
• Hands -on experience on React/NodeJs & other UI frameworks
• Experience with Kubernetes & automated codeable deployments
• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering and DDoS mitigation techniques
• Exposure to AWS services, Lambda & containerization
• Technically hands-on and excellent in Design, Coding and Testing
• Knowledge of build tools such as Maven/Gradle
• knowledge on REST and Spring Boot over any Cloud
• Knowledge of SANS Top 20 Critical Security Controls and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
• Cassandra/any other No-SQL exposure
• Sound fundamentals of Core Java
• Product/Project/Program Related Tech Stack:
  • Front End: Java, React/NodeJs
  • Back End: Java, Spring, Sprint Boot, REST, AWS
  • Middleware: Kafka & its ecosystem, Cassandra/NoSQL
  • DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Sonar, Fortify
  • Others: JMeter, Groovy
• Proven ability to analyse and design systems and do development, integration and deployment

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certifications
• Experience in healthcare industry applications development and support
• Working knowledge of containers and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Good understanding of SCIM2, U2F/UAF/FIDO2, HOTP, TOTP
  JavaScript and Single Page Applications
• Testing: Gatling , Cypress, Selenium/Playwright
• Development Methodology/Engineering Practices Agile (SCRUM/KANBAN)
