Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

As a Software Engineer, you will design and develop high-performance, resilient, and scalable backend systems for financial, credit, collections, and document platforms. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver business-critical microservices and APIs that power AI-enabled digital experiences. This is a high-impact role with clear growth opportunities toward technical leadership.

What Youll Do

• Design and implement Java/Spring Boot-based microservices and scalable REST/gRPC APIs
• Own end-to-end delivery of backend features—from design through deployment and post-release support
• Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver platform capabilities
• Develop backend components for system orchestration, integrations, and data pipelines
• Contribute to system performance tuning, observability, and backend resilience
• Analyze and resolve issues in production using tools like Splunk and Grafana
• Improve development workflows and address tech debt and performance bottlenecks
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews and system design discussions
• Write documentation for services, APIs, and deployment considerations
• Stay current with backend engineering trends and propose improvements to the technology stack

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 4-7 years of backend development experience, including Spring Boot and Java
• Proficient in developing RESTful and gRPC APIs
• Strong experience with SQL databases (e.g., Oracle)
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Ability to build test automation for functional and performance validation
• Skilled in production debugging and operational troubleshooting using Splunk, Grafana
• Familiarity with performance tuning, scalable system design, and backend architecture
• Exposure to JasperSoft and AI-related technologies is a plus
• Passion for learning, mentoring, and driving engineering excellence
