Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer in Services at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in building a high-performance analytics platform that enables businesses worldwide to unlock the maximum value from their data. You will work within a rapidly growing organization, collaborating with experienced engineers to solve challenging problems and contribute to shaping the office and team culture of the Data & Services Platforms team in Pune. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop state-of-the-art service-oriented software architectures. - Produce well-structured designs using various design patterns to maintain a clear separation of concerns. - Assist in leading the development team and act as a technical resource for team members. - Lead planning and scoping features for the team. - Create cutting-edge algorithms and analytical techniques capable of on-the-fly processing across hundreds of dimensions. - Play a central role in developing a suite of web applications and drive improvements to the product's capabilities. - Utilize new technologies and approaches to innovate with large data sets. - Lead and push the boundaries of analytics and scalable applications. - Collaborate with exceptional peers across teams who are passionate about their work. - Apply computer science, math, and statistics skills to solve significant problems for large organizations. - Innovate on code and database deployment methods for all team applications. - Mentor the team and provide guidance to enhance the quality of product development. Qualifications Required: - Full stack engineer with experience in UI, Microservices development, and Database management. - Deep understanding of core technologies such as C#, Python, SQL Server, React, and cloud technologies (preferably AWS/Azure). - Experience with NoSQL is a plus. - Good understanding of various design patterns. - Proficiency in algorithms and data structures. - Passion for solving complex real-world problems. - Initiative and creativity in addressing new challenges. - Ability to thrive in small, highly collaborative project teams. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Strong written and verbal English communication skills.,
