Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

As a Lead Software Engineer at Cvent's R&D Microapps team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing high-performance solutions using TypeScript, Java, GraphQL, Next.js, React, and Tailwind. Your expertise will directly contribute to the evolution of framework features, focusing on resilience, scalability, security, and product developer velocity. You will collaborate with technical leadership and cross-functional teams to execute the roadmap, support consuming teams in utilizing the development framework, and stay updated on emerging technologies to anticipate future challenges and opportunities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Contributing to the enhancement of framework features for improved resilience, scalability, security, and product developer velocity - Demonstrating strong architecture and design instincts to collaborate with technical leadership and cross-functional teams - Supporting consuming teams in adopting, upgrading, and utilizing the development framework - Staying ahead of emerging technologies and trends to anticipate future challenges and opportunities - Identifying and eliminating friction to ensure a seamless experience for customers and developers Qualifications required for this position: - Bachelors+ in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience - 4 to 7 years of Software Development experience - Proficiency in an object-oriented language like Java and JavaScript or Typescript for web application development - Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and experience with AWS services such as Cloudfront, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, etc. - Passion for software development and a commitment to quality craftsmanship - Experience in building framework libraries is a plus - Fluent in written and spoken English Preferred skills for this position include: - Experience presenting ideas, techniques, or approaches to team members - Full-stack development experience ranging from front-end user interfaces to backend systems - Knowledge of Node.js and Next.js - Experience working with AWS - Familiarity with Nrwl/Nx Join the Microapps team at Cvent's R&D and be part of a dynamic environment where your skills and expertise will be valued in building world-class products.,
