Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

As a Lead Software Engineer in Cvent's R&D Microapps team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable, high-performance solutions using TypeScript, Java, GraphQL, Next.js, React, and Tailwind. Your ability to understand ambiguous requirements and provide viable solutions will empower our product development teams to create world-class products. **Key Responsibilities:** - Contribute directly to evolving framework features for improved resilience, scalability, security, and product developer velocity. - Collaborate with technical leadership and cross-functional teams to design and execute roadmap. - Support teams in adopting, upgrading, and utilizing the development framework. - Stay ahead of emerging technologies to anticipate future challenges and opportunities. - Identify and eliminate friction to enhance the customer and developer experience. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience. - 4 to 7 years of software development experience. - Proficiency in an object-oriented language, with Java being a plus. - Strong skills in JavaScript or TypeScript for web application development. - Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and configuring pipelines for efficient software deployment. - Some exposure to AWS services such as Cloudfront, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, and others. - Passion for software development and a commitment to quality. - Experience in building framework libraries is advantageous. - Proficient in both written and spoken English. In addition to the primary skills, the following preferred skills would be beneficial for this role: - Experience in presenting ideas or approaches to team members. - Full-stack development experience, covering front-end user interfaces to backend systems. - Proficiency with Node.js, Next.js, and AWS. - Familiarity with Nrwl/Nx.
