Senior Software Engineer - Embedded System

As a Senior Software Engineer at Mantra Softech in Ahmedabad, you will play a key role in shaping the future of smart homes by leading firmware development for Linux-based IoT hubs. Your responsibilities will include integrating the Matter protocol, voice assistants, AI analytics, and video processing to deliver cutting-edge smart home solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Firmware Development: You will be responsible for building and optimizing firmware for embedded Linux systems, covering board bring-up to app-level features. - IoT Protocols: Implement and fine-tune Matter and Thread protocols to ensure secure device-to-device communication. - Connectivity: Develop networking solutions (Wi-Fi/Ethernet/Thread), cloud integration (MQTT, HTTPS), and OTA pipelines. - Voice Assistants: Integrate Google Assistant and Alexa for smart device control. - AI & Video: Embed AI analytics and video frameworks to enable monitoring and content streaming. - Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with hardware, app, and IoT teams to refine system architecture. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience in C/C++ development on Linux-based embedded systems. - Experience or interest in Matter/Thread protocols. - Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, cloud integration, and OTA. - Experience with voice assistant integration is a plus. - Proficiency in Git/SVN, JIRA, and agile workflows.
