Senior Software Engineer - Embedded System

As a Senior Software Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for leading firmware development for Linux-based IoT hubs, focusing on integrating the Matter protocol, voice assistants, AI analytics, and video processing to create innovative smart home solutions. You will play a key role in shaping the future of smart homes by working on cutting-edge projects. Our company, Mantra Softech, is a renowned leader in biometric and RFID solutions and is now expanding into the IoT sector. We are dedicated to building platforms that offer secure and seamless smart home experiences adhering to the latest IoT standards. In this role, your responsibilities will include firmware development for embedded Linux systems, implementation and optimization of Matter and Thread protocols, development of networking and cloud pipelines, integration of voice assistants like Google Assistant and Alexa, as well as embedding AI analytics and video frameworks for monitoring and content streaming. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with hardware, app, and IoT teams to refine the system architecture for effective project execution. The ideal candidate for this position would have at least 3 years of experience in C/C++ development on Linux-based embedded systems, along with a good understanding or interest in Matter/Thread protocols. Proficiency in TCP/IP, UDP, cloud integration, and OTA is essential, and experience with voice assistant integration would be advantageous. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git/SVN, issue tracking tools like JIRA, and familiarity with agile workflows is also required to excel in this role.,
