Senior Software Engineer

You will contribute to the timely delivery of DHL packages worldwide while ensuring the security of customer data. Joining an agile team, you will work on implementing new features for our yard management IT-System in Germany, focusing on frontend development with Angular, Android mobile apps, and backend development with Java. Software quality and test automation will be key aspects of your responsibilities. The Hoflogistiksystem (HLS) is the distributed IT system supporting DHL colleagues in managing the yard of their P&P parcel sorting centers. You will collaborate directly with our business partner at DHL P&P in Germany to refine requirements, plan sprints, and report progress in daily stand-ups and sprint reviews. To excel in this role, you should possess full-stack development skills, with proficiency in technologies such as Java, Spring, Angular, Android, Kotlin, and various development and build tools. Knowledge of CI/CD and cloud platforms will also be essential. Working independently, prioritizing tasks, and thriving in a multinational environment will be key to your success. Strong communication skills in English are mandatory for effective cross-region collaboration with teams worldwide.
